🔬 Why fly agarics may appear to have elevated levels

Fly agarics are so-called bioaccumulators – they efficiently absorb substances such as heavy metals or natural radionuclides from the forest soil. The detection of residues in laboratory analyses is completely normal for wild mushrooms.

Important: Our analyses are based on dried mushroom material . This leads to seemingly elevated values, as the water content is up to 90% lower than in fresh edible mushrooms. The usual limits for food assessment refer to wet weight. Taking this difference into account, our results are within the expected range for natural wild mushrooms.

Our products are not intended for consumption , but are offered exclusively for botanical, ritual or decorative purposes .

📜 Legal classification & evaluation

Laboratory analyses are carried out in accordance with the requirements of EU Regulation (EC) No. 733/2008 , particularly with regard to caesium-134 and caesium-137. All batches are below the permissible guideline values ​​for natural products not intended for human consumption.
